Because of a need to overcome an abusive childhood,  and not realizing I have a Choice to choose who I wanted to be - my “real” life didn't start until I awoke from that nightmare - at the age of 40.  So actually, I am only 19 years old!  But I have been a seeker longer than that, but certainly not a socially conscious one until I awoke.  I have faced cancer, twice, can't have children - but in the last 14 years I have had 50 children live in my home!

For the last 14 years I have had a foundation, AngelAID, for children with life-threatening diseaes or situations (homeless, abused,foster care, etc.).  We founded it in memory of our first foster daughter, who died of AIDS from sexual abuse. She empowered my life - I had to BE the uncondition love I needed to teach her.  I had to SEE the world through new eyes so that  her heart could heal; and I had to examine what I believed about this world and the next, so that I could help her face pain and death without fear.  She was an angel sent to me from God.

Now I try to give others the choice to choose who they want to be, as she did for me.  http://www.angelaid.com
